However Google does have available a program that can convert any j2me applications (binary code) directly into android packages so that j2me MIDlet can appear in the main window of home screen and can be managed/installed/uploaded separately. However it is a work in progress and I can not guarantee how well it works. I will get back to you about this, I have to break out a i1 from my stock and play with it. What do you mean by that?
