PicoMail 1.6
PicoMail was recently updated to version 1.6. New features in this version include:
- support for free Yahoo! email accounts
- Image zooming and full size image viewing
- OCR of images (and attachments)
PicoMail is a fast, free (ad-supported) POP, SMTP, IMAP email program for Java phones. It features simple account configuration, unlimited email accounts, viewing of Word, Excel, PDF, WordPerfect and image attachments, viewing and sending HTML and plain text email messages, images, including PNG, GIF, JPEG, BMP and TIFF formats, security via SSL, keyword search and automatic spam filtering.

Google and Hotmail do NOT work: Google is tied up in knots in security and Microsoft has no intention of enabling email on any other phone but its own Windows phones/ Perhaps Google would be better as a service provider for NASA rather than the general public for whom , whilst some security is an issue, we don’t want to find we’re locked out of every device other than the one used initially and have to catalogue every one.
So PICOMAIL WORKS A TREAT ON my NOKIA S40 series 2330 – BRILLIANT! all is forgiven!
Doesn’t work on Nokia S40 series 2330 phone. I presume email still not possible since Microsoft switch off?

Wow , What a great tool . PicoMail 1.6 has an easy setup for free Yahoo Mail and all my special folders show up unlike the free email program for the i 465 . It runs much faster plus offers limited web browsing .
