I downloaded this app in my L170, but later i found out that i was ask to format my memory card. May be this app comes with so me kind of virus that is harmful to stored files. MR DENIS ??

I’m sure there’s no virus. I’ve installed Picomail on a number of phones without issues. Apps running in the Java sandbox have no ability to format SD cards.

If you are being asked to format the card the request is coming from the phone’s OS, not any Java app. The OS will offer to format the card when it can’t read it. The usual reason is that the card isn’t seated properly or has gone bad.
