UC Browser 8.4

UC Browser 8.4

A new version of  the UC Browser was released yesterday. It’s version 8.4. This is the legacy UC Browser, not the “cloud” version with the new UI, which is still in Beta. Even numbered UC versions are “stable’ releases which incorporate the new features from the previous odd numbered “unstable” or Beta release. So 8.4 is basically 8.3, hopefully minus the bugs.  UC did add a few minor new features however:

1.  Downloading themes has been simplified

2.  New Traffic statistics display showing how much data has been saved by UC compared to a traditional browser

3. Link to browsing history has been moved to the top of the bookmarks page

4. New “Tools” menu “Phone” option lets you make a phone call or send a text from within the browser

Is 8.3 faster than 8.4? lookung 4 more speed, uc upgraded to 8.8 thru their official site.Thank’s ur the best.

    • Dennis says:

Speed is mainly dependent on the UC Proxy server. But the “Cloud” versions (8.3 and 8.5) seem a little faster than the non-cloud ones,
