Someone requested a recipe app. Unfortunately I could not find one that worked. So here's  "The Italian Cookbook - The Art of Eating Well" by Maria Gentile containing 221 classic Italian recipes. The text is from Project Gutenberg and I created the Java eBook with Tequila Cat Book Reader.

Filling a request for love poems, here's  "An Anthology of Contemporary Love Poems" edited by Rohitash Chandra, Ed Coet and  Ece K Kayıncıoglu.  It contains over 100 poems by various poets. The book is available as a free PDF eBook from the publisher, Lulu.  I converted the PDF to a Java book using Tequila Cat Book Reader.

I got a request for a mobile version of the PDR or "Physicians Desk Reference", a thousand page medical reference book with extensive information on every prescription drug available in the US.  The actual PDR is a commercial publication that costs over $100 so I couldn't post it here even if I knew how to get it in electronic form.

The only mobile drug reference I could find that's not a demo is this "WHO List of Essential Medicines" which is published by the World Health Organization and is a concise list (no pictures) of the lowest cost and most effective drugs for treating common conditions. Probably not what the requester wanted but possibly of use to someone in the medical field.

If you are just looking for a way to identify pills, the Pill Identifier at Drugs.mobi:, drugs.mobi/pillid.php is an easy to use mobile web site that lets you search for pills by color, shape or imprint and has pictures.

Since I posted the  New Testament a couple of weeks ago I've received several requests for the Old Testament.  So here it is, King James Version.  It's split into three parts for easy installation. I would have preferred to post it as a single file but couldn't find one that worked.

The mobile reader app is by GoBible and features  fast search, history and  quick navigation  to a specific book, chapter and verse and sending passages by SMS.

Tips: The Green "Call" key is the "OK"  button in this app.

I've received several requests for Bible reading software. The Bible is quite large, about 1.4 M,  and installing it on the more basic Boost phones would require removing most of the other apps and games on the phone.  I've found a version of the Bible split up into sections of 500 KB each for easier installation.  This one is the complete New Testament, King James Version.  The mobile reader app is by GoBible and features Christ's words in red, fast search, history and  quick navigation  to a specific book, chapter and verse and you can send a passage by SMS.

I got a request for some Emily Dickenson. Here is Volume One of her poems.  The text was scanned ans edited for typos by Project Gutenberg. I created the mobile Java version using Tequila Cat Book Reader, a free program that lets you convert documents in text, html, pdf and many other formats into eBooks.
