Here's another find by BoostApps user Chevan, Galactic Alien Force (G.A.F.). It's a lot like the old Space Invaders game but with better graphics, choice of weapons and the ability to move your cannon up and down instead of just left and right. The basic idea is the same, shoot the aliens and don't get hit by their bombs.

Best on phones with 128 or 130px wide screens (i290, i335, i465, i776, etc.) Doesn't fill the larger screens of the i856 and i9.

I've received requests for more games that you play online against other players. So here's a multiplayer version of the online computer game Ball Shooter or Bubble Shooter.

Use the cannon to shoot balls. Connect 3 balls of the same color to pop them.  Play alone or against online opponents.

You need to register to play but you can do that in the app and no personal information  is required, just an id and password.

As requested, here's a mobile version of Space Invaders, one of the first (1978) arcade video games. This isn't the best adaptation, but it's the only one of five that I tried that actually worked. The graphics are black and white, there's no sound and no bases to hide under. But it loads quickly, controls are respansive and the alien's bombs usually miss.

I got a request for a brick breaker game that uses the arrow keys instead of 4 and 6 to move the paddle so it would play better than  DagazEhwaz on the i465. So here's Arkad, a faithful clone of the 8o's arcade game, Arkanoid II - Revenge of DOH with nice graphics and responsive game play. Like all brick breaker games the object is destroy all the blocks by hitting them with the ball without losing any balls off the bottom of the screen. In the final level you fly the Arkanoid spaceship in battle to defeat the evil DOH.

Another reader find. PocoLoco is a shoot 'em up game with very good graphics. It's not very challenging but a lot of fun.

You are Poco, an indestructible  Yosemite Sam like character with big pistols. The goal of the game seems to be to shoot at everything; bombs,crates and soldiers.

You have to register to play, which you do from within the game.  Registration requires an email address. You can use a bogus address and the will game still work but if you use a real address you get a link for 200 Keicho coins which can be used to buy powerups. GetJar says the game is ad-supported. I didn't see any adds but game start-up takes as long as most ad-supported games.

Space shooter game with an element of strategy and nice graphics.  You have a number of non-movable cannons which can each be fired only once.  A cannon must be armed before it can be fired, the first press of the fire button (green "Call" key) arms it and a second press fires it. This is a fully functional demo which is limited to the first 10 of the 40 levels in the full version.

A fixed shooter space game somewhat like Galaxian or Galaga. You fire a movable gun and attempt to destroy enemies as quickly as possible to advance to the next level.  Look out for falling bombs though!

Move with the left and right arrow keys, fire with the green "Call" key.

DagazEhwaz is a classic breakout style game with 10 different types of blocks, 10 different powerups and 20 levels. The goal is to break as many blocks as possible without losing the balls off the bottom of the screen.  Move the paddle with the "4" and "6" keys and fire with the "5" key.
