Ok, so I just bought an “innuendo” phone but I don’t know how download anything (I only used iden before). Help!

    • Dennis says:

      1) Go to with your phone’s browser. Use the search box or categories at the bottom of every page on the site to find the a game or app you want.
      2) Click the “JAD” link below the app’s description. The phone will download and install the app

For more ways to download to your phone see the Section of this Help page titled

“Q. I have a Boost Incognito, Mirro, Rant, Bali, Juno, Seek, Rambler, Factor or KRZR or some other Boost phone that’s not a iDen phone. Can I get the games and apps on on my phone?”

    • Joss says:

Thank you so much for your help Dennis! I managed to download Opera (and other apps) real easy on the Innuendo; however, I just returned the phone. See, I live in the northern part of Mexico and this (cdma) phone do not recieve any signal at all here. On the other hand, the iden phone I had before would perfectly work here…

    • Dennis says:

So you must be using Nextel Mexico. Are they shuting down iDEN too. Or are you so close to the border that you can use Boost?

Boost Mobile customers. The end has come to Boost Mobile and IDEN. Sprint has made their decision and IDEN is GONE on Boost Mobile. You will eventually have to move to the “Dark Side of the Boost Force” and get a CDMA, Android or BlackBerry phone. I have been an IDEN phone user from Nextel to Boost and up to the end. I finally had to break down and get an Andorid. All of you Boost Mobile IDEN Jedi’s will join us Android Sith or perish in the rehlm of a new carrier. A strong Boost Mobile Sith I have become. Henceforth, I shall be known from this day forth as “Darth Hater” And all IDEN Jedi are my enemy!

I have i856 and my Opera 5 stopped working (it says unable to connect) then I tried to download another browser and I found out that the “download apps” icon doesn’t work anymore (it says system failed or something like that). Is this due to the fact that iden system is shutting down? Should I get a non-iden phone now? Thanks!

    • tlcompany says:

That is quite possible and highly probable. The IDEN system is shutting down and Sprint may already be shutting down certain IDEN related services. You will eventually need to get a CDMA phone, now is the time to start looking.

my phone doesn’t have a game apps selection in the menu nor does it have java games listed. i have a rumor reflex from boost how do i download stuff.

    • Dennis says:

The Rumor Reflex is a CDMA phone. Follow the instructions for CDMA phones in the post above. Downloaded apps with be in the “My Stuff” menu’s Applications folder.

    • veronica says:

i tried doing that but its not listed am i doing something wrong?

    • Dennis says:

It’s hard to say what’s going wrong but here are is the process for downloading an app on a Boost CDMA phone like the Rumor Reflex.
      1. Go to with the phone’s built in browser
      2. Find a game or app you want and click on the app title to open its detail page
      3. Scroll down to the JAD link near the bottom of the post (NOT the Send to Phone Button, below it)
      4. Phone will tell you the app is Untrusted and ask if you want to continue anyway. Choose Yes.
5 Download will start, progress bar will be displayed.
6.Download will either complete or else and error message will be displayed and the download will be aborted.
      7. If there was no error, phone will tell you which folder (Applicatons or Games) the app is stored in and ask you if you want to launch it. Press Launch to run it
      8. The next time you want to run the app, tap Menu, then My Stuff and then the Games or Applications folder and the app will be listed at the bottom of the page (might have to scroll down), Most apps, including games, end up in the Applications folder, If you can’t find your app check both Games and Applications and be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of each list.

Try doing the above steps and let us know if it works, and if it doesn’t, where the process fails or halts and any error messages displayed. Also which app(s) you have tried.
