You can send most games and apps that you find on the Web to your phone using the Universal App Loader. For help with the Loader see: Detailed Universal App Loader Help and How to use the Universal App Loader without a PC .
You also make requests in the BoostApp User Forum's iDEN Games and Apps Wanted or CDMA Games and Apps Wanted sections and a community member may be able to help you.
I will continue to post useful, non-commercial games and apps that users have installed with the loader and posted about on the Forum's iDEN Games and Apps That Work thread.

This phone reminds me of a cassette tape.cant we get something better than i radio.it's unbelieveable my radio from the 50's warms up faster than my phone can download a station.i believe my phone is over 10 years old when i bought it 7 months ago new.(i856)

Neither Google Search or Skype Lite work. Skype full is Windows Mobile, Symbian and Android only.

I don't use Linux much but you should be able to use:
Audacity for converting MP3's to use as ringtones
GIMP for resizing images to use a wallpaper
To create zip files:
- install zip using your package manager
- then in shell do:
zip -r game.zip /directory_containing_jad_and_jar/
There are no Linux equivalents for the Motorola utilities like iDenJAL or Phonebook Manager

Streaming video is impossible on iDEN, the network is too slow. That's why Boost TV looks like a slideshow.
i was curious if you can put something like pandora radio. i know the blackberry has it for boost. I tried to use I radio but takes way to long was curious if there is a faster version out there.

It should be fixed now. Try sending iRadio again.

The new eBuddy doesn't work on my i776. From what I've it only works on the i856 only. Which phone do you have?

Yeah, you should post that under the browser you are using; Opera Mini 3, 4.2, Bolt or UCWEB not in Requests.
Spyware and virus aren't a problem on Java phones. Their are some paid anti-virus apps but they are a waste of money.

I don't think WebJAL works anymore, the free servers have all shut down. Use lDenJal for apps, Bluetooth for ringers/games instead. See:

You need to use Opera Mini 4.2 or 3.1 on the i776. They are in the browsers section of this site. To download to CDMA phones visit BoostApps.com with you phones browser, find the app you want and click the JAD link. Not every app will work but some will.
id like to know if theres a place to get free ringtones for my boost mobile i465? ive looked all over and cant find anywhere. boost always says "not acceptable". and since this site works for my phone i thought you might no where i can go to download ringtones for free. thank you for your time.
It's impossible to download ringtones over the air using any iDEN phone. You need to send them from a PC or another phone using Bluetooth. See: How To: Use Any MP3 File As A Free Ringtone

TbiaME doesn't work on Boost phones. It installs and runs but gets an error connecting to the server.

Unless you have the source code it's not generally possible to change the keys mappings. The only exception I've seen is with Google Maps where you can specify key mappings in the JAD file. See: http://my.opera.com/yodude/blog/show.dml/375005

hey man...i downloaded this thing called face warp from getjar.com...it's a camra that warps just the face. I have an i465 clutch...the only thing that I know that doesn't work is saveing the picture but you can send it to your own phone and other people.

I am still getting the "Data Error 906 Invalid Descriptor" message. I appreciate you trying though. Boost must have really set up this particular phone to not allow anything.
It should be possible to download with that phone. Unfortunately I don't have the phone which makes testing impossible. I've made on last attempt at changing the jad file that might work. So give it another try and let me know.

JFashPlayer is a library for PC's not phones. It lets developers control the Adobe Flash player installed on the PC. It's not a flash player itself and has nothing to with phones.
Flash is not possible on Boost phones. Too little memory, too slow a processor. Adobe is struggling to release Flash for the most advanced smartphones it will very likely never run of devices like the Boost phones that a tenth as much memory and processor speed.

Hi Thomas, I also own and use exclusively my i776. As Dennis said make sure you select SEND TO PHONE. That's after you punch in your phone ex: 1234567890 . No spaces and no - characters! Just input your 10 digit number. And select SEND TO PHONE!
i was wondering if you u could get this app called wefi for the i465, it is a wi-fi app
Devon WeFi is only for Symbian, Android and Window Mobile, no Java. Plus the phone needs to be WiFi enabled, WeFi just logs you into hotspots it doesn't give WiFi abilities to phones that don't it.

thomas, Are you trying to download from BoostApps to a Boost iDEN or Nextel phone? If so press the "Send to Phone Button" and follow the onscreen instructions.
For any other type of phone, including Boost CDMA (Mirro and Incognito phones), visit http://boostapps.com with the phone's browser and click the JAD link.
