Opera Mini 4.4 Updated
I recently started seeing an “Update your browser, a new version of Opera Mini is available” message every time I started Opera Mini 4.4. The update appears to be a minor one, it’s still 4.4 but the the full version number has jumped from 4.4.26736 to 4.4.29467.
I don’t see any obvious changes in the new version, so it’s probably just bug fixes. Opera normally only nags you to update when there’s a major jump in versions like from 4.3 to 4.4 so maybe this one fixes some really major bug. Plus it gets rid of the nagging “Update…” message.

The only problem im having to my seek is that the screen is slanted and the words arent clear. But other than that it works great.
I had the same problem mentioned here. Clicking any link causes opera to crash, and a black screen aopears for about half a minute after which the phone goes to the home screen, and tells me it is entering digital service area. /sanyo innuendo
little help please. is anyone having a problem when you select a link to go and it kills the phone. not all the time, but often. have opera next also on my phone and doesnt happen at all
Sounds like an Opera Mini bug. I suggest filing a bug report at http://mini.bugs.opera.com/
In the meantime if Next works use it.
If you prefer Opera Mini 4 series try one of the older versions like:
