eBuddy 1.5
I’ve never posted eBuddy 1.5 because it doesn’t install on my i776. Plus it’s supposed to be a very minor update to fix a connection issue on some non-Boost phones. On the other hand eBuddy 1.4 works, although it keeps telling you there is an update available.
Boost apps reader Darren found a version of eBuddy 1.5 that does work on his i9. I tried it on my i776 and it fails with a “Class Loading Error on “bz.class” just like the other one I tried. I’m posting it anyway for the benefit of i9 users. It may work on other models with likely candidate being the i856 because it is the latest models.
If you try this on a phone other than the i9, please post a comment saying if it works or not and I’ll update this post. If you try it and it doesn’t work, you can always go back to eBuddy 1.4.
eBuddy supports Yahoo, MSN, GTalk, AIM, ICQ, MySpace and Facebook.

hey i was just wondering where did Darren find the ebuddy app version 1.5 for i9. I own an i9 and was wondering if you could tell me where to download the 1.5 ebuddy app.
The one on this page is the one that works on Darren’s i9.
Won’t work on the Sanyo Incognito. Button mapping doesn’t work for the left soft key and no other button works as replacement. Consequently, you can’t even get past the first screen to pick a language.
I actually went to Mgetjar before you posted your response and found eBuddy ver1.5 and found it to install just fine. And get this, during the setup there was actually a step to toggle your “OK”, L/R softkeys, and directional keys. But, it is still a piece of crap, no matter how much you polish it. Yahoo and itself were the only two networking sites it would make a connection to. If you are just bored of looking at Ymessenger and want to create an account at yet another social networking site, I would highly recommend this app for you. 007
