GCalSync
An open source app that synchronizes Google Calendar with your phone’s built in calendar. It’s not perfect but it’s the only app of any kind that I know of which synchronizes the calendar on Motorola iDEN phones with anything. The issues I’ve found with it are:
It asks permission to access user data a half a dozen times ever sync with annoying beep each time. You can eliminate the beeping by switching to a profile that has Volume > Data set to 0.
It only syncs event name, date and time. It does not sync location, description or alarm (alarm is always off).
Using the default settings event times will be off by several hours. To fix this go into Options > Time zone and un-check “Use GCal time zone” (see image).

Why do not worked on my phone?
What brand and model phone are you using?
Works on the LG 840G like a charm. Just have to tap through a few “untrusted” warnings.
I just discovered this app (don’t know how I missed it) since I’ve been using Google Calendar for several months now. After playing with it for a few days on my Motorola i465g Clutch, I’ve been able to get it to sync both events I create in Google Calendar AND on the phone.
I found that when creating an event in Google Calendar, I had to set the duration of the event for more than 0 minutes for the start time to show on the phone. in the GCalSync app, I also had to disable “Use GCal time zone” and change the Upload adjustment to +08:00 for the times to match. It retains the Upload adjustment after exiting, but seems to revert to “Use GCal time zone”, so you either have to un-check and save it before each sync, or just keep the app running in the background. Apart from this flaw, and the reminder (alarm) defaulting to off even if a reminder is set in Google Calendar, it’s not bad.
It stopped working for me. I think Google changed the format, or something.
It’s not working for me either on my Boost phone but it’s still working on a Nokia N95 on T-Mobile.
Ditto on the invalid start time error. Zenior, thanks for the try and any efforts you make for the remedy. This would be great to have on my i465!
