Honey Location 3.0
The Honey Location service has been shut down. It’s no longer possible to track a phone from a PC with this app.
Here’s another free GPS app that works with Motorola iDEN. Honey Location lets you track your phone and your friend’s phones on a PC or view your location on a map on the phone. It seems to get a fix quite quickly using cell tower location to show your approximate location if GPS isn’t available like indoors. Free registration required at honeylocation.com
Publisher’s description: “Honey Location is a FREE mobile application for tracking locations. Works on all cell phones. Want to spy? Want to see the length of a journey or max speed? Not a problem anymore. Log in and watch honey’s locations on Google maps. Export your routes to Google Earth (KML file). Take picture using cell phone and show it immediately your friends. Share your locations, be visible, follow your friends.”
If this version crashes on your phone, try version 2.1.

I get the same “invalid discriptor length error” on my Juno. So then I went to the web site & it downloaded on my phone there just fine. But now I get “GPS error”, “application not authorized to access the restricted GPS”, on the honeylocations screen with no more info. Does anyone have any ideas??
In general third party GPS apps do not work on Boost Mobile CDMA or Sprint feature phones. Sprint locks the GPS down on everything except iDEN and smartphones
Dont know why,but in Settings:Store Location in Memory=”No” gives me accurate Mapping.
Also, after getting fix,no need to select Connect if all you want is map on phone
same as mydian. works great on i465. worked indoors ok. the gps is off by a few miles. i still think google maps app works best, xcept it dosnt have gps. il keep the app to give me an idea of where i am. but google maps ftw. def a nice find, ty
Works on my i465. Had some trouble with the picture option because of the phone wanting permission but after a few tries it worked. Seems to lag my phone less than gpstracker when running in the background. The website doesn’t seem as nice as instamapper so I’ll have to mess with this app some more before I can decide if I like it or not. It is working indoors but has me moving around 5 miles here and there between refreshes.
when i try to download this app on my incognito a get a invalid discriptor length error?
