MidpSSH
MidpSSH is an open source mobile Java SSH and Telnet client. Web developers and server admins can use MidpSSH to open a Unix/Linux Shell or Windows or Novell command line interface on servers they have access to. If you don’t have a server of your own to play with, Nyx.net offers free Unix shell access over Telnet and SSH.
MidpSSH has lots of features including a choice of fonts, user defined macros and the ability to save host names and login IDs and passwords for multiple servers.

I used to use telnet and the VT100/ANSI terminal emulator on my Commodore to play this on a multi line IBM system. This is THE ANSWER to all my troubles Dennis! Getting on here would be reuniting me to some old friends and being the Wizard I was yrs ago;)
Dennis,I kinda need help w this. Been yrs since I telnet. I need to be able to get on this site http://crossroadsoftheelements.com/wiki/cote:top to be able to play a game I used to play in the 90’s. Select “playing crossroads” n it explains parameters.
Crossroads seems to work for me in MidpSSH.
Text entry is a bit weird. To enter something press the right softkey (labeled “Input”), enter your text and then press the left softkey (labeled “Enter”).
Be sure to read the MIDP documentation and FAQs, it’s a powerful program but there is a learning curve.
It’s a pretty geeky tool and the user interface is not very intuitive. It really intended for programmers and server administrators. Plus you need an account on a remote server or Linux host offering shell access.
If your familiar with using Telnet or SSH on the PC you should be able to figure it out with a little trial and error or by reading the documentation and FAQ at http://www.xk72.com/midpssh/
