Mobile Diary
This is an app for creating a daily journal or diary. Supports emoticons and choosing the day’s “mood”. Entries are organized by date and you can search the diary a particular word or phrase.
If you register you can archive your diary on UltimaSquare’s website and view it online. Warning: archiving deletes all entries from the phone. The option to view the web archive from within the app doesn’t work as it tries to launch the browser which Java apps aren’t allowed to do on iDEN phones.
You can view your archived diary entries at www.ultimasquare.com/diary/main.php using a PC or mobile browser. Online diaries are password protected by default but you can make them public if you wish.
Type: Freeware
Vendor: UltimaSquare
Data Connection Required: No
Supported iDEN phones: All Falcon Series With Java (i290, i465, i776, i856, i9, etc.)
File Size: 122 KB
Downloading uses paid data. Downloads are for Java ME phones only.
To download and install click here: DOWNLOAD (jad)
Does this app support touch screen mobile phones?
No but most touchscreen devices will display a touch keypad below the app that will give you virtual arrow keys, softkeys and number keys so you can use the app.
R these apps free?
Yes, all the apps on this site are free. However your mobile operator may charge you for the data used in downloading and running them.
Dennise how do u downlode thize app because it wont let me send the app to my phone 🙁
The “Send to Phone” button is only for Motorola iDEN (i Series) phones like the i465
If you have any other type of phone:
1. Go to http://boostapps.com with your phone’s browser
2. Click the “Enter jump code” link and enter this jump code: 1949.
3. When the next page loads click the JAD link to download and install the app
hey Dennis im having some trouble with the security so noone can read mmy stuff but how do you set up a password and lock it thanks
Yeah, I can’t find that feature either.
It looks like only thing that’s password protected are the online copies created when you archive your diary which are private unless you choose to make them public.
Anyone who gets a hold of your phone can read your diary. I’d edited the app’s description to make that clear.
hey thank you Dennis 😀
