Nefanasa Yahoo IM
Update:This app doesn’t seem to work any more. It just hangs displaying “Request Key” when you try to connect.
If you use Yahoo IM, you have to try this great find from BoostApps reader, Tal. It’s the first IM client I’ve seen that really works well on my i776. It’s quick, all the keys mapped correctly and everything fits the screen. Too bad it’s Yahoo IM only.
Nefanasa Yahoo beeps when you get a new message, but unfortunately only when the app is in the foreground with the flip open. If it would notify when the flip was closed it would be perfect.
This is version 2.1.0. The latest 2.4.12 version doesn’t work due to a required certificate that is missing on IDEN phones. The instructions on the Nefanasa site say that if you are using 2.1.0 you need to change the server to cn.scs.msg.yahoo.com but that doesn’t actually seem to be necessary as that is the default server.
One quirk about installing this app is that the download appears to contain two apps called “Nefansa Yahoo”. The first one installs and works but the second one gets an error. You can safely delete the broken one by highlighting it, pressing Menu and choosing “Remove”.

This application in my nokia 3600 slide shows login problem it disply the erro like, error https login and so on.I am really fed of this problem so i request you for the solution of this problem and as a try to download the security certificate der from http://www.nefanasa.com it says the page cant be opened.Please send the solution of this problem to my e-mail address given below.
As I mentioned in my post, Nefanssa doesn’t work on my phone anymore either. Plus I don’t know anything about the Nokia 3600 so I can’t really give you any advice. Try a different messenger app.
ok so loaded app onto i465 put in yahoo id and pass then it gets stuck looking for request key forever and doesn’t log in. any ideas?
It worked for me but I have an i776. Try turning your phone off then on. If it still doesn’t work it’s probably incompatible.
It is compatible with the i465. I have it loaded on my i465 & I use it almost everyday. Works great. No errors or anything like that happening.
which version 2.1 or 2.4? thanks. always says ‘request key’ …
also what does it say under app setting for yahoo server and yahoo port is it 5050?
on the nefanasa website says 2.1 doesn’t work anymore, and the other versions require a certificate to authenticate. any ideas?
how do I get audio on my games? there is no sound?
I don’t think this app even works any more. If it’s still working for you it should beep when you get a new IM. If if it doesn’t be sure “Java Spkr” is turned up all the way in your Profile.
