Nimbuzz 1.9.5
A new version (1.95) of the Nimbuzz instant messaging app has been released. According to Nimbuzz, the new features in this release are:
- Fixed a few bugs
- Improved support for Nokia Touch & Type devices
- Improved overall performance
- Nimbuzz Ping phone Number Verification (PNV)
- Better N-World Connectivity
Nimbuzz 1.9.5 runs pretty well on my Motorola Rambler but there are some serious key mapping issues. The left softkey action is mapped to the right softkey. I can adapt to that but the right softkey is mapped to nothing which is not good as it’s used as the Cancel key and to return from menus and chats. This version gets a Class Verification error anf fails to install on my Motorola i776 iDEN phone.
Type: Freeware
Vendor: Nimbuzz
Data Connection Required: Yes
iDEN Compatible: (tested on i776): No, Java Class Verification error when installing
Boost CDMA Compatible: (tested on Motorola Rambler): Yes, but key mapping issues
Screen size: All
