Opera Mini 6.1
Opera Mini was updated to version 6.1 yesterday. According to Opera new features in this release
- Added support for Google AutoComplete
- Added ability to search directly from the address bar
- Added intelligent domain suggest which suggests your most used domain endings
- Added support for country domain auto-complete such as .ru or .id
- Improved text selection on touchscreen phones
- Ring tones can be saved to “tones” download folder (on some phones)
- General bug fixes and improvements
Opera Mini 6.1 should work well on most of the Boost CDMA phones. Opera Mini 4.3 is recomended for the Boost iDEN phones. ^.1 is too resourse intensive for the iDEN phones, except possibly the i9 and i856.

oh but why does it not work on my i465
Hard to say exactly, probably there’s too little Java heap memory on the phone.
it does not work on the motorola i1 or i465
The Android version of Opera Mini 6.1 (from the Android Market) works very well on my i1. The one here is for Java phones not Android.
socket and http rather
Yes, Opera says the app will detect whether http or socket is better and use the right one. We will see 🙂
ok thanks
is it just me or opera mini 6.1 is missing the socket and html protocol?
opera 6.0 crashed my innuendo, will this crash, also?
The only way to find out is to try it. Lots of people use Opera Mini 6.0 on the Innuendo with no problems. Trying to open too many tabs in Opera Mini can cause the phone to reboot.
