PregTool
By request here’s Pregtool. It’s an app that calculates a pregnant woman’s due date based on either the date of her last period or the gestation age of the fetus as determined by an Ultrasound examination. Intended for medical professionals, this app can also be used by expectant parents. The fields in the app are labeled rather cryptically but the app is easy to use:
- In the first field (labeled “LMP or US (ddmmyyyy) enter either the date of the woman’s last menstrual period (LMP) or the date an ultrasound (US) was performed.
- If the date entered was an ultrasound exam date enter the fetus’ gestational age in the second field (labeled “GA in US” for “Gestational Age in Ultrasound”). If the date was a last period leave the second field blank
- Move off either entry field and the estimated due date (EDD) and current gestational age (GA Today) as of today is instantly calculated and displayed at the top of the screen. You may have to scroll up to see it.
