UtaIRC
After I posted the Virca IRC (Internet Relay Chat – the oldest and biggest Internet Chat service) client last week several readers suggested that UtaIRC is a much better mobile IRC client than Virca.
UtaIRC , which is also called jmIrc-m, features multiple windows, fast scrolling, lots of options and the ability to define canned responses that you can insert into your chats with a single click. And it vibrates the phone whenever there is new activity in one of your open channels
Type: Open Source Freeware

Edit: I found that long number in the phone information. It’s the device ID.
This works on an 840G. It has onscreen navigation (of a sort…wireframe sections) that’s sufficient for the functions. It doesn’t need the phone’s default onscreen navigation. I tried modifying the .jad and .jar file with that based off of the .jad flags at Opera Mini’s page at WAP Review. No go. If you know a way that would be cool and the built in qwerty would be good too. When “versioned” on a network it returns a 33 digit number that seems specific to the phone. What is that?
UtaIRC has nothing to do with Facebook. It’s a client for IRC only. The best way to use Facebook on a Boost phone is with Opera Mini with http://m.facebook.com
Does this program easily support things like Facebook chat. I have been looking for something I can use on my i465 and chat with my facebook friends. While people mention being able to do this with some programs, none of the ones here on Boost Apps actually mentions whether you can do this or not
good post man
