UC Browser 8.3
The UC Browser has been updated again to version 8.3 Here’s what UC says is in this release:
1. UDisk——Save once, download anywhere. Different from other net disks, UDisk works with almost all web resources, because it is essentially integrated with the browser. Just connect it with your UCWeb account, and you can save anything to UDisk, from local storage to web resources. Each file has an expiration date, from 7 days to infinity. There are 70MB for long-time storage and 2GB for 7-days storage. Extra storage space will be available in the near future.
2. App Gallery——Have fun with install-free apps. First introduced with our Android version, the app gallery is used by many users. You can read news, watch videos and sync bookmarks directly from App Gallery. Currently, there are three apps : UDisk, for free online storage; Quick Reads, for quick scans of major headlines; and Online Bookmarks, for accessing your bookmarks anywhere you like. Although the initial version comes with only 3 apps, the app gallery will soon grow to be your web center.
As I expected UDisk, doesn’t work on my Motorola Rambler which doesn’t have a memory card and doesn’t allow 3rd party apps to access internal memory. It will probably work on phones with memory cards. Everything else works on the Rambler.

I am unable to download pictures an save to my phone-using UC Browser 8.3 on my SAMSUNG-BG-7722 Please help
You need to choose the memory card as the location to save the file. If it won’t let you download to the memory card try using one of the signed versions from http://173.254.204.29/index.php?action=VersionList&bid=354&product=ucbrowser&pfid=70&model=12429&lang=english Be sure to pick the “Signed version…” link not the “[JAR]” one (JARs are never signed).
ucbrowser takes long when i download stuff above 10 MB and i need a it to download faster because i am not patient and i do not wait up too an hour just for 1 download

No idea but it sounds like a scam. I’ve never heard of UC Browser randomly giving people prizes. I recomend you avoid clicking any links or calling any numbers in the message and contact UC directly at [email protected]
cannot watch videos with uc browser. how do i save them to phone or convert it somehow to download and watch videos
The UC browser is not a video player, when you click a video click the UC Browser hands off the video to your phone’s OS. If the phone’s built in media player is capable of playing the video it will otherwise you will see an error or “not supported” message
Most video sites like YouTube serve videos as streaming media which can only be played, not downloaded. Some sites like Tubidy.mobi serve videos as a files, which can be downloaded. When you click a link to a downloadable video, UC Browser 8.3 will show three buttons, Open, Download and Offline Download which do the following:
Open – open the video with your phone’s media player
Download – save the file on your phone. Most phones only allow you to save to the memory card
Offline Download – save the file in the UCBrowser’s UDisk cloud storage.
To convert videos to a different format (most phones that can play videos at all can play.3gp format, some can also handlecertain .mpeg’s) you need to copy them to a PC and use a program like Handbrake.
