UC Browser 8.3
The UC Browser has been updated again to version 8.3 Here’s what UC says is in this release:
1. UDisk——Save once, download anywhere. Different from other net disks, UDisk works with almost all web resources, because it is essentially integrated with the browser. Just connect it with your UCWeb account, and you can save anything to UDisk, from local storage to web resources. Each file has an expiration date, from 7 days to infinity. There are 70MB for long-time storage and 2GB for 7-days storage. Extra storage space will be available in the near future.
2. App Gallery——Have fun with install-free apps. First introduced with our Android version, the app gallery is used by many users. You can read news, watch videos and sync bookmarks directly from App Gallery. Currently, there are three apps : UDisk, for free online storage; Quick Reads, for quick scans of major headlines; and Online Bookmarks, for accessing your bookmarks anywhere you like. Although the initial version comes with only 3 apps, the app gallery will soon grow to be your web center.
As I expected UDisk, doesn’t work on my Motorola Rambler which doesn’t have a memory card and doesn’t allow 3rd party apps to access internal memory. It will probably work on phones with memory cards. Everything else works on the Rambler.

I do save it into differnt folders but when I must open it in that folder then it just says “media card unable to support” something like that and I get frustrated with that… So what do I do now?
Is there likely any add on for UC same as ScrapBook for firefox to manage saved webpages in the form of collections?
I’m not familiar with that Firefox extension but UC Browser can save pages into different folders if you want to organize them that way.
I struggle to download vampire diaries, gossip girl, and glee on my phone and have tried everything and nothing else works….
HOW CAN I GET MY FILES IN UDISK ON MY PHONE
There’s a “Download” link under the name of each file in U-Disk. Click it, then click Save to download it to your phone. The phone has to support 3rd party apps writing to the file system and the file type you are trying to download has to be compatible with the phone.
And “if ‘Open’ is grayed (disabled) that won’t be compatible with my phone” I deduce is it? But my phone has java compatible platform (I have installed UC jar file). I am surprised with How might for example ‘YehBA Mobile Instant Messenger_Cell11.com.jar’ be uncomtabile. And I do not know what can I do with zip file because that is ‘Open disabled’ too.
Use a file manager like MiniCommander 4.2 or Royal File Explorer or to verify that the file has the correct .jar file extension and change it to .jar if it doesn’t. MiniCommander can also open zip file and extract there contents.
Some devices only allow apps to be installed over the air using the browser and don’t support installing apps from a file in the filesystem like you are trying to do. Also Java apps are supposed be installed using the .jad file not the .jar. Many devices allow you to install a .jar but some don’t.
