MicroSky
Update: The MicroSky server has been down since Dec., 2012. Without the server the app doesn’t work.
Several of you requested star map apps and “piggy” found MicroSky for you. It’s a planetarium in your pocket which can display the night sky for your location or anywhere in the world. The star maps are stored on the MicroSky server but download quickly, much faster than Google Map, for example. Before you can use MicroSky you do need to register for an account at www.upto.org/skyserver/editRegistration.do?action=Create&callfr om=microsky but registration free and instant.
