Opera Mini is the best browser for iDEN phones. It's fast and can load almost any Web site, not just mobile sites but ones designed for desktop browsers like the full version of Howard Forums or the Yahoo homepage. 4.2 is the latest and most full featured version that runs on Motorola iDEN phones.

If you have a Boost Incognito, according to tech. support you CAN'T add any 3rd party software! I've tried and failed on all accounts!! This limits one's freedom to choose what he/she wants to use, and that stinks! We need a way to unlock the phone, but I'm not a code jockey.
I think tech support means it's not supported by them but downloading is possible.
A number of people have reported successfully loading games and apps on the Boost Incognito from http:/m.getjar.com and from this site. Not every app works but that's the nature of Java, lots of incompatibilities between devices. In addition installing Opera Mini from http://m.opera.com also works.
I have a friend with the Incognito and he has Opera 5.1 on it and it runs so nice. He downloaded it from opera's site using the built in browser. That phone is sweet.. and you can put tons of apps on it as Dennis said from getjar.com. I'm thinking about ditching my i465 for one.
How can i use 4.2 to download
If your phone has a memory card you can download images and mp3s to the card with Bolt. This might work with Opera Mini too. Try it and let us know.
