Opera Mini 4.2
Opera Mini is the best browser for iDEN phones. It’s fast and can load almost any Web site, not just mobile sites but ones designed for desktop browsers like the full version of Howard Forums or the Yahoo homepage. 4.2 is the latest and most full featured version that runs on Motorola iDEN phones.

My phone says Opera Mini is using 4,193,910.41 KBs too. Which is crazy and impossible. That’s almost 4 GB which is 500 times the phone’s total memory of 8 MB! And I still have 2.4 MB free.
Rather than a memory leak I think it’s a bug in the phone’s memory used calculation.
I’ve been using Opera Mini since version 1.0 and my iDEN phones have always reported crazy memory usage for it. But it keeps working and free memory doesn’t seem to decrease so I wouldn’t worry about it
memory leak, or some thing like it, on i290. data space usage said over 4 million KB. maybe they need to use the garbage collector…
I have also installed Opera Mini 4.2 on multiple Boost phones ranging from an i415 to an i465 and i776.
It works fine on all of them. The Boost network is slow, but it does work.
I used the iden content uploader at http://144.230.114.35/adp1/FUN/index.jsp

I tried that site, the wap connection but that also gives the 500 error.. Do you get this as well? Turning off mobile view DOES make the captchas visible.. However it makes screen a little difficult to navigate since the page no longer fits the screen.. Can’t win ’em all I guess. 😛 Thanks so much for all your help..
Jess, I haven’t found a way to send ringtones, wallpapers or screen savers over the air like apps. You have to use Bluetooth or a cable/software combination.
