Opera Mini 4.3
Opera Software has released a major update to the Opera Mini 4 series, which is optimized for older and less powerful phones that don’t work well or at all with Opera Mini 6. In my opinion, Opera 4.n is the best browser for Boost iDEN phones. Most of the Boost CDMA phones can run Opera 6 well but if yours doesn’t 4.3 is the next best thing. According to Opera the changes from 4.2 to 4.3 are:
A fresh new look
Opera Mini 4.3 boasts a new and improved design, including a selection of great new skins for you to choose from.

does anybody know if leaving opera mini running in the backgroung will eat up battery life?
In my experience leaving Opera Mini runing in the background on the iDEN phones has no noticible effect on battery life.
thanks Dennis but how about cdma phones?
My Rambler and most of the CDMA phones can’t run apps in the background. The only one’s I know can are the Incognito, BlackBerry and Curve. I think maybe the Seek and Rant can but I’ve never seen any confirmation of that or used either phone. But the Opera Mini browser in the background isn’t doing anything and shouldn’t require any CPU cycles and thus shouldn’t require any battery power.
thats all i needed to know , thank u Dennis
thanks for ur help Dennis, one question kinda off topic thou but whats ur take on the new motorola clutch i475 and moto theory these r pretty new dont know if u seen them yet , im wonderin why would they release onother iden phone by now everybody knows is gonna be shutdown kinda strange anyway thanks
Oh!didn’t know that,thanks Dennis
has anybody noticed anything wrong with both operamini 6 n 4.3 ? they seem buggy and glitchy ive been back n forth with both but a lot of times they hang for a long time when loading a page also show errors or server could not be found or server timed out i wish i could say i dont happen often but it does n its driving me nuts i thot it was my phone but its not i really hope they fix it .
The Opera Mini servers and the Internet in general have been having issues today. Amazon’s S3, which a lot of sites use, is down. Things should get better.
I use this on my juno and it works great.i love it.i can access anything with it 🙂
4.3 is definately faster than 4.2 on my I465. only complaint is the skins. only 4 total including default. not a big deal but operas bragging about new/more skins. only new one is snow (white). red pink and default(opera theme) are it.
