Opera Mini 4.4

Opera Mini 4 has been updated. The new release is Version 4.4 According to a post on the Opera Mini blog, there are no visible changes in this version. However the network code has be redesigned which “opens up new possibilities for your network operator to integrate services like free Opera Mini browsing to certain sites”. I kinda doubt that Boost will ever use that feature. There are also bug fixes including one for a problem that affected skins on some Samsung devices.

Opera Mini 4.4 is recomended for phones that aren’t powerful enough to run Opera 5+ well or at all.

  Either:
  1) Download it using WiFi if your phone supports it
  2) Download to a PC and copy to the phone using a cable or Bluetooth
  3) If your mobile operator is Reliance India, Indosat Indonesia, Airtel Kenya, Airtel Nigeria, Smart Philippines or Cell C South Africa, BoostApps is part of Facebook’s Free Basics (formerly internet.org) and you should be able to access it for free. As far as I know that includes downloads.

Hi,iam using samsung GT-E2222 when iam trying to download operamini it writes invalid jar,so what can i do?

  The Samsung E222 doesn’t support downloading apps. Yo need to download apps to a PC and transfer them to the phone using Sansung PC Studio.

  The Samsung e222 [email protected] doesn’t support installing apps by downloading. Try using a PC, cable and Samsung PC Studio to install Opera Mini.
