BoostApps reader Lise has been scouring GetJar looking games and apps that work on her i856. Mario55, also called Mario MIDP is one of her finds. It's an oldie but a goodie, a Super Mario Bros. clone from Hungarian development house AquaJava. It has working sound, correctly mapped keys and very fast gameplay on my i776.
Keys:
left and right arrow keys to run
up arrow to jump
# to start a new game after you loose.

wow this is fast ok. hows a nice slow game like mahjong please.
way too fast, but still a nice rendition of mario. just needs a few millisecond slowdown. of course, i always have sucked at mario, and cuz of that, i hate it.
yah way fast,1&3 are jump left&right.no sound on my i776
tried playing it. was too fast for me to keep up with. but still a great find.
