An emulator for the Commodore 64 home computer from 1982. It includes 10 games; Laser Zone, Attack of the Mutant Camels, Bomber, Cosmic Causeway, Elite, Formula 1 Simulator, Gridrunner, Hover Bovver, Kik-Start and Kikstart II.

BoostApps Forum member ajl4096 discovered JME C64 and reports that it works on his Sanyo Innuendo with some key mapping issues.

I tried it on my Motorola Rambler and i776. It doesn't install on the i776 but works at least partially on the Rambler. On that phone the only game that seems to work is Gridrunner and it's slow and hard to play because the screen is so much smaller than the TV screen or computer monitor that the C64 was designed for.

UC Browser 8.4

A new version of  the UC Browser was released yesterday. It's version 8.4. This is the legacy UC Browser, not the "cloud" version with the new UI, which is still in Beta. Even numbered UC versions are "stable' releases which incorporate the new features from the previous odd numbered "unstable" or Beta release. So 8.4 is basically 8.3, hopefully minus the bugs.  UC did add a few minor new features however:

1.  Downloading themes has been simplified
2.  New Traffic statistics display showing how much data has been saved by UC compared to a traditional browser
3. Link to browsing history has been moved to the top of the bookmarks page
4. New "Tools" menu "Phone" option lets you make a phone call or send a text from within the browser

Dark-Light

Publisher's description "Test your reactions and drive yourself crazy. Switch the light streams to keep the balls flowing and the multipliers clocking up.

How to Play:
Each light-stream is labelled with a number at the bottom. Press the number to switch the light streams to match the corresponding balls before they reach the bottom of the screen. The little green bar at the bottom of the screen decreases when you get one wrong and increases when you get them right. When the bar is completely gone, it's Game Over. Simple, yet strangely addictive and good brain exercise too!"

NESCube 1.2 - SuperMarioBros3

This is an older 1.2 version of the NESCube emulator for the circa 1985 Nintendo Entertainment System games . It comes with the Super Mario Bros 3 game.

Unlike NESCube 2.2 which is also on BoostApps, 1.2 doesn't have the ability to load game ROMs from the phone's memory card. This copy includes the Super Mario Bros 3 ROM.

The advantage of 1.2 is that it works on some phones like the Sanyo Incognito that can't run 2.2 (Thanks to BoostApps Forum member brandon0306 for discovering that this version works on the Innuendo).

The game runs well on my Motorola Rambler. It also runs on a Motorola i776 but is too slow to be playable.  If you try it on a different phone, please leave a comment letting us all know how it works

Default key mappings (can be changed in Menu > Settings > Control):
Up, 7, 9 = Jump; 2 = Up; Down, 8 = Down; Left, 4 = Left; Right, 6 = Right
OK, *, # = Fire; 0 = Select; 1 = Scale Mode; 3 = Rotate; 5 = Start

Sudoku Mobile

Sudoku Mobile

Yet another version of Sudoku. This one generates puzzles quickly and has nice easy to read numbers unlike some of the others I've seen. At least it does on my Motorola Rambler. On a Motorola i776 the numbers are completely invisible as if they were printed with white text on a white background!

To play Sudoko, Enter numbers into the blank cells so that each row, column and 3x3 box contains all the numbers from 1 to 9.Not as easy as it sounds!
