Gcal
This app displays your Google Calendar and lets you add and edit events. It takes quite awhile to retrieve you calendar at start up and when switching from one day to the next but works well otherwise.
When you first install Gcal the key mappings and the times of existing events are wrong and the date format is the European one, dd/mm/yyyy.
To fix these press the right softkey (labeled Exit but actually options) and choose “More” (Use the green Call key as the OK button) , then choose Settings and then set date format to “mm/dd/yyyy”, the timezone to -7:00 (Pacific), -6:00 (Mountain), -5:00 Central or -4:00 (Eastern)
Keys:
Call = OK/Select; Right softkey = left softkey action; menu = right softkey action

I was excited to try this app, as I rely on Google Calendar heavily for work, and unfortunately my Motorola i465g is unable to add events by text (used to work SOME of the time, hasn’t for months) and the app GCalSync is sadly unreliable when trying to sync my phone’s datebook with Google Calendar.
The GCal app DID allow me to create an event and save it in my phone’s Datebook AND on Google Calendar, but entering the details was a challenge, particularly when trying to modify the start and end times, and loading the calendar days is PAINFULLY slow. The mis-mapped keys are annoying as always.
Using Opera Mini to access my Google Calendar is still the fast way to create an event, then GCalSync “usually” doesn’t have a problem downloading into my phone’s datebook (the other way around is the usual problem).
Still waiting for a reliable, IDEN-friendly app to sync Google Calendar with the Clutch…
